Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi is reportedly close to returning from an ankle injury.
The setback meant that the 23-year-old had to withdraw from recent Italy games with Albania and the Netherlands, but Corriere Fiorentino reports that the youngster is progressing well.
The Florence newspaper reports that the winger has been training with the ball, albeit still separately from his teammates. Evaluations will be made over the coming days but the club may decide not to risk starting him against Bologna on Sunday.
