Roma's Daniele De Rossi congratulates Lazio on their Derby win, adding that the Giallorossi allowed their rivals to play how they wanted.

The veteran midfielder equalised for his side from the penalty spot shortly before half-time, but two second half goals ensured the Biancocelesti secured local bragging rights.

"The regret is that we lost a match similarly to other matches," De Rossi commented. "We allowed them to play a game that was most suited to them.

"The regret is that we lost a match similarly to other matches," De Rossi commented. "We allowed them to play a game that was most suited to them.

"We went for it in a certain way, then after it went to 2-1 we fell apart.

"We had two chances at the start and then we went behind with their first chance. It isn't easy, it was the match they wanted to play and they did it.

"Unfortunately, we have to congratulate them.

"I don't know whether it's right for me to evaluate whether something was missing. There is a Coach and director for that."

De Rossi revealed that he has not asked teammate Francesco Totti whether today's game was his last Derby as a Roma player.

"When we lose the Derby, it's obvious that for us Romans it hurts even more. I haven't asked him whether it will be his last Derby."
