Watford manager Walter Mazzarri was caught on camera muttering that “hopefully I won’t have to see” Antonio Conte again after the Chelsea game.

Last night the Premier League champions emerged with a 4-3 victory at Stamford Bridge to celebrate the title.

In his post-match Press conference, Mazzarri sat down and muttered to his translator: “Has he gone? Conte? Good. Hopefully I won’t have to see him again…”

The pair of tacticians have been in a feud for many years, since Mazzarri’s Napoli challenged Conte’s Juventus for the Scudetto.

It then continued when Mazzarri moved to Inter and has seemingly now been switched to the Premier League.

However, news agency ANSA report that Watford sent them a note insisting the comment “was not referring to Conte.”
