The Rossoneri were battling with Roma to sign the Ivorian, but it has been reported in recent days that the transfer is now virtually a done deal.

Today calciomercato.com is reporting that the deal on the table is worth €2.2m per season plus bonuses, blowing the Giallorossi’s €1.7m offer out of the water.

Chelsea and Inter are also believed to have made tentative approaches in recent games, but they were told in no uncertain terms that a deal has been done with Milan.

Calciomercato therefore concludes that Kessié can be considered a Rossoneri player, with only an official announcement to come.
