Uruguay squad for Italy friendly

Uruguay named their squad for the friendly against Italy on June 7, including Matias Vecino, Diego Laxalt, Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez.

Oscar Washington Tabarez’s side will face the Republic of Ireland on June 4 and then meet the Azzurri in Nice three days later.

Diego Godin and Abel Hernandez have been left out due to injury.

There are two Serie A-based players in the squad, namely Fiorentina midfielder Vecino and Genoa winger Laxalt.
