U21: Italy squad for Euros named

The Italy squad for the European Under-21 Championship has been announced, including Gianluigi Donnarumma, Federico Bernardeschi, Domenico Berardi and Roberto Gagliardini.

The tournament runs from June 18 in Poland with the Azzurrini facing Denmark, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Coach Gigi Di Biagio named his squad for the competition, including many Serie A regulars.

There are five – Donnarumma, Simone Scuffet, Andrea Conti, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Bernardeschi – who will arrive after they have finished senior international duty on June 12.
