Spartak Moscow have joined the race to sign Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj, along with Lazio, Roma and Milan.
The Croatia international’s contract is due to expire in June 2018 and he has refused an extension.
While the Rossoneri were initially the favourites, they seem to have turned towards other targets.
According to the latest reports, Spartak Moscow are now also contenders and have contacted Fiorentina for information.
They won the Russian league title under former Juventus assistant manager Massimo Carrera.
This season the 28-year-old contributed two goals and three assists in 33 Serie A games.
