Eintracht Frankfurt have announced the signing of midfielder Jonathan de Guzman from Napoli on a three-year contract.
A statement on Frankfurt’s official website confirmed the news but stressed his arrival remained subject to “all the documents being signed”.
A transfer fee is also undisclosed, although the Dutchman had only one year left on his Napoli contract.
The 29-year-old was bought by Rafa Benitez in 2014 and scored seven goals in 36 appearances for the Partenopei in his first season.

However, he was deemed surplus to requirements by Maurizio Sarri and spent the past 18 months on loan at Carpi and Chievo.
