Fiorentina President Mario Cognigni has revealed that Borja Valero has “already” joined Inter.
Valero tweeted his departure from Fiorentina on Twitter earlier on Friday, and Cognigni has since confirmed that the midfielder will become an Inter player.
“Has Borja Valero already been sold to Inter? Yes, yes…,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport when leaving the Viola’s training complex.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly paid €7m for the Spaniard, with a medical booked for Monday.
