Udinese’s Jakub Jankto claims Patrik Schick “had some minor heart problems” but feels his Czech Under-21 teammate was still able to join Juventus.
Sampdoria announced on Tuesday that Schick would not be signing for Juve, and Jankto appeared to corroborate rumours that cardiac issues were the reason why the Bianconeri pulled out of the deal.
“I don’t know if I can say this, but after the [European Under-21 Championship] game against Italy, he immediately went to have medical tests with Juve,” he told Udinese TV.
