Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has urged Inter to “forget” about signing Arturo Vidal and revealed that he could return to Italy one day.

Ancelotti stated only a few days ago that Vidal would be staying at Bayern, despite talk of a €50m bid from the Nerazzurri, and the Italian reiterated his stance on the midfielder, while discussing the idea of going back to his home country.

“Inter? It’ll be an important game and we’ll play in an organised manner,” he told a Press conference.

“Inter have a new Coach, who has so much experience. After that, we’ll see if new players join them.

“Vidal, on the other hand, will stay with us. I’ve told my friends, Sabatini and Spalletti, to forget about him.

“As for Renato [Sanches], I hope he can continue in his own process of growth.

“Return to Italy? I’m very happy here, my focus is on Bayern Munich.

“Of course, I’m Italian and therefore it’s normal if I think about going back in the future.

“It can be an option, but not in the near future.”
