Torino have announced the arrival of Olympique Lyonnais defender Nicolas N’Koulou, on loan with option to buy.

According to Toro.it, the option to buy at the end of the season is worth €7m.

It’s a surprise move for the Granata, as the 27-year-old only joined Lyon as a free agent when his Marseille contract expired last summer.

He only made 22 competitive appearances for Lyon.

He is a Cameroon international with 72 senior caps under his belt.
