Serie A new boys Benevento are in negotiations to sign Napoli striker Leonardo Pavoletti and Pescara midfielder Ledian Memushaj.

This will be their first ever top-flight campaign, just a year after starting their maiden Serie B experience.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Naples side are in talks with Pescara for their Albania international midfielder Memushaj.

The Delfini would be prepared to release him on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season.

However, Benevento face serious competition from Swiss side FC Sion.

Meanwhile, Il Mattino newspaper suggests Benevento have approached Napoli for centre-forward Pavoletti.

He was signed from Genoa in January for €18m, but did not make much of an impact at the Stadio San Paolo.

Udinese, Spal, Sassuolo and Hellas Verona are also interested in a Pavoletti loan, but his salary is proving a problem.
