Duvan Zapata would “welcome” a move to Sampdoria, his agent admits, but so far there’s been “no direct contact” with Napoli.
The striker spent the past two seasons on loan at Udinese, and is expected to leave the Partenopei permanently this summer, with the Blucerchiati said to be battling Fiorentina for his signature.
“At the moment there’s been no direct contract with me and Sampdoria, or with them and Napoli,” Fernando Nestor Villareal explained to SampdoriaNews.
“There’s been no direct approach either by the Blucerchiati or Fiorentina.
“Would Samp be a welcome destination? Of course. Even two years ago, before we went to Udinese, we were close to a deal with Sampdoria.”
