Just hours after publicly declaring he “would love” a move to Milan, “but they are sleeping,” Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Borussia Dortmund training.

Officially, the Gabon international left the session this morning after just 30 minutes due to “a light cold.”

He seemed fine last night when holding court on a livestream via social media, when he replied in Italian to Rossoneri supporters.

“I’d love to come back, but if they are sleeping, what can I do?”

Aubameyang then did an impression of the San Siro announcer after a goal.

“And with the Number 7…” then winked at the camera.

This is not the first time Aubameyang has so publicly sent out the message to Milan, as it is the club where he grew up.

The 28-year-old was in the Rossoneri youth academy and was sold to Saint-Etienne for €1.8m in January 2012 following a series of loan spells.

Borussia Dortmund bought him for €13m just over a year later and he is now worth over €80m.

The German club have another problem to deal with right now, as this morning they announced Ousmane Dembele has been suspended "indefinitely" after trying to force a transfer to Barcelona.
