Valencia defender Joao Cancelo is wanted by Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur, but Inter hope Geoffrey Kondogbia can give them the upper hand.
The 23-year-old right-back can also play in a more advanced role, making him a tactically-versatile figure.
According to Mediaset Premium, Inter trust Valencia’s attempts to sign Kondogbia will open the door for Cancelo to San Siro.
Kondogbia abandoned training over the last couple of days and will be fined by the club, while the Nerazzurri won’t sell for under €25m.
Juventus are also interested in Cancelo to reinforce their back line, although Atalanta finally seem ready to let Leonardo Spinazzola go instead.
However, Sportitalia claim that Tottenham saw a €30m proposal for the Portugal international rejected, as the asking price is €30m plus another €5m in performance-related bonuses.
