Torino are on the verge of completing a €10m swoop for Monaco winger Rony Lopes, according to Calciomercato.com.
The Portugal Under-21 international plays primarily on the right wing, but can also work on the left or as a striker.
It’s reported Torino President Urbano Cairo and director Gianluca Petrachi held a summit with Monaco representatives today, agreeing terms worth just over €10m.
Born in Brazil, the 21-year-old started his career at Benfica and joined the Manchester City academy in 2012.
Following a loan spell with Lille, Lopes was sold to Monaco for €12m in 2015.
He spent the last six months back at Lille on another loan.
It’s reported Lopes could sign a contract with Toro as early as tomorrow.
