Following further meetings today, Milan are believed to be close to signing Nikola Kalinic on loan with obligation to buy.
The Fiorentina striker skipped training yesterday, and presented a medical certificate today excusing himself for the next five days.
This evening the Viola released their squad numbers for the coming season, with Kalinic losing the number 9 and tonight Sky Italia is reporting that a deal is moving closer.
It’s thought further discussions took place today, and there is growing confidence that a deal will be done.
There is a basic agreement for a year-long loan deal, with the obligation to buy next summer for €25m.
Kalinic is currently in Croatia but has already accepted a move to the Rossoneri, so he’s just waiting for the go-ahead to fly to Milan.
