The San Siro side have been extremely busy in the summer transfer market and ahead of the big kick off, the Chinese businessman paid tribute to leading Milanfigures behind the scenes.

“First of all, we need to say that we really appreciate the efforts of Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli this summer,” Li began.

“First of all, we need to say that we really appreciate the efforts of Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli this summer,” Li began.

“They have secured important players, they really have done a great job.

“I thank them because they have worked day and night to build a good team. We have changed a lot and we have different new players.

“It won’t be easy, but we have faith in the Coach and the players.”

Li added that despite Milan’s transfer outlay, Rossoneri fans remain the club’s most important asset

“We thank you for all the love you give Milanon a daily basis. It doesn’t matter where or when, you are always there.

“Let’s get back to being united – fans, club, the management, the decision makers.

“We will fight to get back to where we need to. We will support the team in every way possible and we will get back to where Milanneed to be.”
