Francesco Totti congratulates Roma on their first win of the new season but admits it is tough watching from the stands.
The Giallorossi icon retired from playing at the end of last season and is now a director at the Stadio Olimpico club.
He was present in Bergamo this afternoon to watch Eusebio Di Francesco’s side beat Atalanta 1-0, a free-kick by Aleksandar Kolarov proving the difference.
And the one-club man confessed that playing no part in proceedings is proving a nerve-wracking experience.
“From the stands, the match is really tough!” Totti wrote on social media in the aftermath of Roma’s victory.
“Congratulations boys on this first result. It will be a year of battles and strong emotions. Forza Roma!”
