Roma have announced that Bruno Peres has a thigh strain, which will keep him out for around two weeks.
The Brazilian was forced off injured in the 81st minute of the 1-0 win over Atalanta, and he is now almost certain to miss the games with Inter and Sampdoria.
“On Monday Bruno Peres underwent medical tests that revealed evidence of a Grade I muscle strain in the pectineus muscle of his left thigh,” a statement from the Giallorossi announced.
“The full-back suffered the injury during Sunday's 1-0 win over Atalanta, and was forced to leave the pitch in 81st minute following a collision with forward Papu Gomez.
“The Brazilian is expected to be out for around 15 days.”
