“Felipe Anderson was available for selection for the Supercoppa, after which we slowed down the rhythm has he’s suffering from Insertional Calcific Tendinosis in his left adductor which has been aggravated.

“We currently have him on a specific and personalised training regime, with the aim of having the player back in the best possible shape to face the season which just started.

“We’re talking with him daily and he’s being monitored by both clinical and structural examinations on a weekly basis to get a clear picture of his recovery time.

“The goal is to have Felipe in the best possible condition so he can face a busy football season.”
