A clearly-emotional Pepe Reina saluted Napoli’s fans after the final whistle of their 3-1 win over Atalanta.

Maurizio Sarri’s team came from behind to beat Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, with goals from Piotr Zielinski, Dries Mertens and Marco Rog.

However, the Spanish goalkeeper’s future has been the subject of much speculation amid reports he cannot agree on a new contract at the San Paolo.

His current deal ends at the end of this season, but rumours have grown that he will leave the club before then.

Following the end of tonight’s match, Reina went over as usual to applaud the Napoli fans but appeared tearful as he did so.

This only adds to rumours that the veteran has just played his final match for the club.

The Partenopei are currently refusing to speak to the media, but it has been reported that the former Liverpool shot-stopper is pushing to be allowed to join French side Paris Saint-Germain.

In the mixed zone, Reina walked past reporters who asked if this was goodbye: "I don't know."
