A meeting of the Lega Serie A is underway in Milan, with the election of a new President one of the items on the agenda.
All 20 Serie A clubs are holding their annual meeting, with the main item up for debate the election of a new President.
Lazio President Claudio Lotito and his Juventus counterpart Andrea Agnelli are pushing the candidacy of Marco Brunelli, who is currently the general manager.
Any candidate will require 15 votes to be elected as the replacement for Maurizio Beretta, who stepped down in April this year.
Also on the agenda is a motion to elect two federal councillors, including one to take on the role of Vice-President.
In addition, a President of the Board of Auditors must be elected, with the role currently occupied by Ezio Maria Simonelli.
