Saturday’s Serie A match between Sampdoria and Roma has been postponed due to a weather warning and might not be played until December.
There is an Orange Alert in place in the city of Genoa for Saturday afternoon and evening, so the local council has ruled that the game cannot go ahead at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
It’s going to be a problem rescheduling this fixture because the Giallorossi have a packed calendar due to their Champions League participation.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the most likely options are December 13 or 20.
There could even be a delay until January 2018, using up one of the dates that would otherwise have been used for the Coppa Italia.
