Semplici: 'Spal can trouble Inter'

Leonardo Semplici’s Spal are unbeaten so far this season and the Coach aims to trip up Inter at San Siro too.

It kicks off on Sunday at 11.30 UK time (10.30 GMT), click here for a match preview.

“For many of us it will be the first game at San Siro, there’s bound to be a big crowd, so this is a real test of our maturity,” said Semplici in his Press conference.

“I believe Inter are candidates for the Scudetto along with Juventus and Napoli, so naturally it’s not going to be a very even encounter. The Nerazzurri are in terms of history, experience and quality one of the top clubs in Europe.

“We’ll try to play our football and, with a bit of healthy fearlessness, we’ll even try to control the game at times. It won’t be easy, but that has to be our primary objective to cause Inter real problems.

“We have several alternatives to field in attack and along with my staff we are evaluating all the options. Felipe has recovered and could even start in defence.

“Apart from Marios Oikonomou, Luca Rizzo and Sergio Floccari, the rest of the squad is in good shape, so I have plenty to choose from.”

Goalkeeper Alex Meret is also still on the treatment table.
