SPAL defender Francesco Vicari is delighted to be facing Inter at the San Siro and warns his team are out to cause another surprise.
The newly-promoted Biancazzurri have made a good start on their long-awaited return to Serie A, following up an impressive goalless draw at Lazio with a dramatic late win over Udinese.
And having been named in Leonardo Semplici’s line-up to face the Nerazzurri, Vicari is targeting another positive result.
“It’s a unique emotion to be at the San Siro,” the 23-year-old commented.
“It’s one of the most beautiful stadiums, we can’t wait to get out on the pitch.
“Every day we look to train as well as we can in order to surprise people every Sunday.
“We are facing one of the best teams in the League and we will give everything.
“We need to be alert to every ball and do everything the boss has told us to in order to make it hard for them.”
