Juventus have left out Giorgio Chiellini and Mario Mandzukic from their squad to face Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday.
It had been reported that Chiellini and Mandzukic trained on Monday morning, but Juve’s official website confirmed the defender “was still undergoing recovery work” from a calf injury.
The striker, on the other hand, limped off against Chievo, having aggravated the bruising he sustained during the international break.
Elsewhere, Juan Cuadrado is suspended and new boy Benedikt Howedes is on a personalised training program, while midfielders Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira remain unavailable due to injury.
However, Alex Sandro is back in the squad after recovering from a bout of flu.
