Roma President James Pallotta admitted “I’m not happy” after the Giallorossi’s goalless draw with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
Roma were considered lucky to escape with a point in their Champions League opener against Atleti, who had 18 attempts at Alisson’s goal, prompting Pallotta to praise the Brazilian as the game’s “No 1” performer.
“I’m not happy,” the patron said after the match.
“I could say a couple of things that we could’ve done better, but it’s not easy to play after such a long break."
Roma had not played for 17 days, as Saturday's Serie A game with Sampdoria was called off due to a weather warning.
“They have great players, but Alisson was No 1 [on the night].”
Elsewhere in the same group, Chelsea thrashed Qarabag 6-0.
