With Nikola Kalinic injured, it’s likely the Portugal international will start at San Siro.

“I predict we will win 2-0,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“From the moment I arrived, I got the feeling this was a special game for the whole city of Milan. So far, Inter have done better than us this season, but we hope to beat them and give the Milanisti great joy.

“We will certainly go on to that field to give our best and get the victory.”

Despite banging in goals regularly for Portugal and in the Europa League, Andre Silva is still looking for his maiden Serie A goal.

“I dream of keeping hold of the starting jersey. I want to play, I want to score goals, I want to help the team achieve our objectives. I hope my goals can help the side to win.”

Coach Montella has been critical of Andre Silva, urging him to be more like Milan legend Pippo Inzaghi.

“I agree with all the criticism that is made against me, especially when it is constructive. It helps me to give my best and improve. I accept criticism and want to prove to Montella that I can do what he asks.

“If he says that I am not yet like Inzaghi, I hope to eventually make him say I have become Inzaghified! He is a great Coach, I already knew of him and his career as a player, so Montella can teach me a great deal.”
