Serie A announces winter dates

Serie A has announced its winter dates for this season, with matches spanning across Christmas and New Year.

It comes after Serie A pledged to scrap its winter break before the start of the campaign, instead opting for a week off between January 7 and 20.

Games will also be played on January 6, which marks the traditional Italian celebration of Befana - similar to the phenomenon of Santa Claus.

Week 20

Friday January 5: Chievo-Udinese (17:00), Fiorentina-Inter (19:45)

Saturday January 6: Torino-Bologna (11:30), Roma-Atalanta (17:00), Cagliari-Juventus (19:45)

Week 21
