Domenico Criscito’s agent warns “sooner or later we’ll have to start negotiating with teams”, as Zenit St Petersburg haven’t offered a contract renewal.
The Italian defender is out of contract in the summer, and it’s possible he could leave the Russian club after seven years.
“Domenico has already stated he’s proud to play for the St Petersburg club and he’s happy to be captain,” Andrea D’Amico told Tass.
“To date though there have been no offers for a possible extension of his contract. The contract will expire in 2018, we’re still waiting for a call from the board.
“Sooner of later though we’ll have to start negotiating with the teams showing an objective interest in the player.”
