Udinese have officially confirmed the sacking of Luigi Del Neri, with Massimo Oddo expected to replace him.
Following the defeat to Cagliari at the weekend, rumours began to intensify that the Coach would be relieved of his duties and today that has been confirmed by the Zebrette.
“Udinese Calcio can confirm that first-team head coach Luigi Delneri and assistant Giuseppe Ferazzoli have been relieved of their duties,” a statement announced.
“The club would like to thank Delneri and Ferazzoli for their dedication over the last 13 months and wishes them all the best for the future.”
Former Pescara Coach Oddo seems certain to be his replacement, and could be announced later today.
