Vincenzo Montella has refused to rule out taking the Italy job after leaving Milan but says he will take a break from football before his next move.
Montella was quickly put forward as a candidate to become Italy’s next CT, following on from his sacking by Milan, but the Coach – while not giving a definitive ‘no’ to the Azzurri – wanted to recharge his batteries first.
“Would I like to train the national team? Let me have some time to myself,” he told Premium Sport.
