Diego Lopez calls on Cagliari to show a response against Bologna after their embarrassing Coppa Italia exit.
The Sardi were beaten 2-1 at home by Lega Pro club Pordenone in midweek, causing their Coach to question his players’ attitude.
“After a performance like that, I told the boys the shirt needs to be respected and honoured,” Lopez said ahead of his side’s trip to Emilia-Romagna.
“We know that we were not at a high level. We have to aim to run more than the opponent and to concentrate and be aggressive.”

Lopez added his team should follow the example of their performance against Inter last week, where they impressed despite ultimately losing 3-1.
“Against Inter we didnt manage to get a result but we always need to play like that.”
