“We could’ve finished off the game earlier and wasted several chances to make it 3-0. The game was re-opened after an unfortunate error, which changed everything.

“Cagliari and their fans rediscovered their confidence and at that point we could even have lost this match. I put Gianluca Caprari on to send a signal to the squad, that we would lose it our way by playing in the opposition half.

“Looking back, we should’ve dealt with the situation and our emotions better in that five-minute spell.”
