Barcelona reportedly sent delegates to Lazio-Torino on Monday to watch Stefan de Vrij, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Andrea Belotti and Luis Alberto.

De Vrij is reportedly insisting on a €30m release clause in any new contract with Lazio, and the Catalans are keen to bring in a new centre-back as Javier Mascherano is likely to leave in January.

Milinkovic-Savic, meanwhile, would freshen up a midfield in need of “generational change”, while Belotti would “enrich an attack that has two stars but several unknowns.”

Meanwhile, any move for Luis Alberto would represent a return to Barca, the midfielder having spent the 2013-14 campaign with their B team.

Although Lazio lost 3-1 to Belotti’s Torino, albeit in controversial circumstances, MD claims Robert was particularly impressed with the former Liverpool man.
