Moise Kean reveals Mino Raiola “tells me to look up to Zlatan Ibrahimovic” and that Mario Balotelli “is one of my favourite strikers.”

Kean is currently on a season-long loan at Verona from Juve, and the 17-year-old – who is one of Raiola’s clientele, alongside Ibra and Balotelli – was among the Gialloblu’s goalscorers during their 3-0 win against Milan before Christmas.

“When I chose Verona, I didn’t make any calculations,” he told Tuttosport.

“When I chose Verona, I didn’t make any calculations,” he told Tuttosport.

“I’m happy with how these last few months hav gone, but I can and must give more to the team and their fans.

“I’m 17 years old and I know I still have a lot to improve on. My goal against Donnarumma? Gigio’s a friend.

“We talked before the match. After that, we didn’t cross paths again. He’s one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

“However, it was more exciting to score against Milan than him. Right there, my first thought was, ‘now I have to score another, we have to win.’”

“Raiola? Mino always tells me to play my football and look up to a champion like Ibrahimovic.

“He introduced us, and I get on well with him. I’d like to have Ibra’s sincerity in his work and ruthlessness.

“Balotelli is also one of my favourite strikers, and I have a good relationship with him. I appreciate his technical ability and pace.

“Am I the new Balotelli? I like Mario, but he’s Balotelli and I’m Kean.”
