Mauricio Pochettino concedes Juventus “are one of the best teams in the world, but Tottenham are going to be aggressive, brave and try to win.”

The first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 kicks off in Turin at 19.45 GMT.

“We are going to be aggressive, brave and try to win,” the Spurs Coach told the official Tottenham website.

“It’s the Champions League and we are going to play one of the best teams in the world. They have unbelievable players, a great manager and it will be tough as they have a lot of experience of competing at this type of level and competition.

“We need to make everything difficult for them, try to dominate and play in our way. It will be an exciting game and we are so motivated and so excited to play.”

Juventus are yet to concede a single competitive goal in 2018, but are expected to field four strikers plus Miralem Pjanic this evening.

“It’s true, it’s a big challenge for us,” said Mauricio. “They are so strong, so tough and difficult to break down, but they also have that quality offensively.

“They have a good balance between offence and defence and both phases of the game will be tough.

“We need to be right and prepared to compete. If we are focused and giving our best, we are going to be tough for Juventus and any team. That is the key, being at our best, belief, confidence and energy to compete.”
