Ciro Immobile’s original diagnosis of 15-20 days is confirmed, but Lazio medics believe he could face Inter in the final round of the season.

The striker suddenly pulled up clutching the back of his right thigh during the opening minutes of a 1-0 win away to Torino last week.

“It will take time to have more reliable test results, but Immobile has undergone a third test and that too confirmed the initial diagnosis: Grade I lesion of the femoral bicep in the right thigh,” Doctor Fabio Rodia told Lazio Style Radio.

“He will be monitored and undergo treatment for the whole week. The prognosis remains 15-20 days for the moment.”

The race is on to be fit for the final match of the campaign against Inter.

“It’s an option, we’ll see how the situation develops.”

Meanwhile, Stefan Radu was shown to have no lesions to his right thigh, but should be out for this weekend’s clash with Atalanta.

Marco Parolo is also a major risk following injury, but Luis Alberto is fine despite skipping training this morning.
