There’s an €8m release clause in the Coach’s contract which is valid until the end of this month, and Chelsea are thought to be prepared to pay it.

Gazzetta reports that the Blues would also offer Sarri a contract worth €8m gross per season.

There are also links to Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur, but the latter is only if Mauricio Pochettino leaves.

While the fans want Sarri to stay, he and De Laurentiis disagree on the direction of the club.

The Coach fears that his current squad will be dismantled in the summer, while De Laurentiis has told him that the club will not exceed the current budget.

The club plans to continue with their policy of focusing on promising young players.
