“We are having a season that nobody expected, as we’ve got the chance to get into the Champions League,” the Brazilian told Globoesporte.

Inter have to win at the Stadio Olimpico, otherwise the Biancocelesti will take fourth place.

“I think people are looking to me and my talent, hoping that at any moment, I can change the game. I am focused on the present now. Once the season is over, we’ll sit around a table and see what is best both for the club and for me.”

Felipe Anderson is yet to fully reach his potential, as he has flashes of brilliance, but is maddeningly inconsistent.

“I remember that I arrived at Lazio already injured, which postponed my debut and fitness levels. In Brazil, we are accustomed to just playing with the ball, but tactics are an essential element for Italians.

“Not all players settle in the same way or at the same pace. For example, Gabigol still needs to prove his worth in Europe. I am like a different player since I came to Italy, as I have not lost my ability to dribble, but learned defending and tactics.”
