Sassuolo have officially confirmed that Beppe Iachini has left his role as Coach, with Roberto De Zerbi expected to replace him.
The former Palermo boss guided the Neroverdi to safety this season, but there were concerns his playing style didn’t get the best out of their attacking talent.
“After the interview between the Neroverdi directors and Giuseppe Iachini, it was found that there are no longer the conditions to continue the employment relationship with Sassuolo Calcio,” a statement on the Emilian club’s website reads.

Sky Italia reports that Benevento Coach Roberto De Zerbi is likely to replace him.
