Olympique Marseille have reportedly started formal negotiations with Nice for Mario Balotelli.
Their interest had been known for several weeks, but Marseille had hesitated to push forward with the approach.
According to RMC Sport in France, agent Mino Raiola started talks with Rudi Garcia’s side today.
Although Balotelli’s contract technically expires at the end of this month, a clause means Nice are still owed €10m.
SuperMario has also been linked with a return to Serie A for Napoli, Roma or even Parma.
