Nice have reportedly fined Italy striker Mario Balotelli for starting the season overweight.
Balotelli was heavily criticised for his performance during Italy’s recent 1-1 draw with Poland, before it emerged in the Press that the striker had hit 100kg.
Although Nice President Jean-Pierre Rivere did not confirm the 28-year-old had been fined by the club, he alluded to it as much.
"Mario will have a great season because we’ll put him in the best condition and because he’s a great player,” he told Nice Matin.
