Christian Kouame’s agent claims ‘big clubs have enquired’ about the Genoa forward but maintains ‘the speculation doesn’t interest us’.

“I don’t like the comparisons with Faustino Asprilla,” he told Calciomercato.com.
“I can say that Christian has been able to grow in a short time. He’s improving game by game and he doesn’t have to stop now.
“It wasn’t easy for him to adapt to this level, but he’s succeeding and we’re very happy about that. I’m convinced that the lad still has great room for improvement.
“I can say that several Serie A clubs wanted him [referring to interest from Milan]. Cittadella always considered him an important player and demanded so much for him.
“Now he is at Genoa, a club who are always very good at enhancing players like him. I’ve always seen Genoa as a model club.
“He was only born in 1997 and it’s normal for everyone to take care of him. The important thing is that he grows and gets even better.
“The transfer speculation doesn’t interest us right now. We were in contact with everyone. Now we have to see what President Preziosi’s strategy for the player will be.
“It’s normal for directors to ask for information about Kouame, but we like to talk more about concrete things, real offers.
“For now, there have only been enquiries from several big clubs and not just Italian ones.”
