Frosinone have officially signed Milan defender Stefan Simic on loan for the rest of the season.

The deal was confirmed by both clubs on Thursday afternoon and is a dry loan, with no option to buy for Frosinone.

Despite his Croatian surname, the 24-year-old is a Czech Republic international and previously spent time out on loan at Varese, Mouscron and Crotone.

However, he has played just once for Milan’s first team – his sole appearance coming against Luxembourgish minnows Dudelange in this season’s Europa League.
