Balotelli became the first Marseille player in 45 years to score in four consecutive home games as his side beat Vieira’s Nice 1-0 on Sunday.

“He scored and that’s good for Marseille,” the Coach said after the game, RMC Sport reports.

“My defenders did very well but, that aside, our lack of attention on Mario hurt us a lot.

“The difference was made out of nothing by Mario, who was rather non-existent throughout the game.”

The pair were teammates at Inter but fell out during the first half of the season, when the Italian was still an Aiglons player.
