Verona have officially signed winger Darko Lazovic from Genoa on a free transfer.

A statement on Verona’s website confirms Lazovic has put pen to paper on a three-year contract.

The move sees the 28-year-old reunite with Ivan Juric, his Coach at Genoa across three stints.

He scored three goals and provided four assists in 34 appearances for the Grifone last season but left after his contract expired on June 30.

The deal represents something of a coup for Hellas as the Serb had previously been linked with Lazio.
