Local police were called to send them away, assisted by the film producer’s own security, marking the second time such an incident has occurred in the space of two weeks.

Earlier in the day, Samp were forced to report a banner to police outside their training ground that read: “Shameful Ferrero, watch your back.”

“I’ll never be held hostage by anyone,” the club’s President told Tuttosport.

“If a new offer doesn’t arrive by next Friday, Sampdoria will no longer be sold.”

The Blucerchiati have made a miserable start to the season, losing their first three Serie A games and conceding nine goals in them.
